Tucked safely away from the mainstream safari route the Selous Wilderness Camp, located on the southern shores of the Rufiji River, offers attentive, yet unpretentious personalized service, exquisite dining and fantastic tents with amazing views of the Rufiji River and its wildlife.

The Camp is a simple extension of the natural safari enviroment. With five tents for 2-3 people and 2 bigger family tents for 3-5 people. All tents are fully equiped with comfy beds, Solar electricity from  07:00 till 09:00 in the morning and  18:00 till 23:00 art night, a bathroom including outside shower and a terrace with stunning view of the river. 

Take a refreshing swim  in the pool after a intense gamedrive  while watching the monkeys play in the trees and listening to the calm sound of the grasshoppers sing in the bush.

Located next to the pool, is the shaded bar and lounge area with multiple seating spots and the best view of the camp, being able to overlook the mighty Rufiji river. This area is perfect to start or end the day with a refreshing drink enjoying the tranquility of nature. 

The dining area's are a variety of diffrent spots within the camp with all their own special features. For example the fire sight area is one of the favorite places to enjoy a nice three-course meal while watching crackling fireplace.
